When I plug in a USB stick to boot from, and I hit the ESC key to get to the Boot Deivce Options screen, why are there 3 different selections for my USB stick as shown below...

Two of the entries are identical and one is different. Why is this, why isn't there just one USB boot option?
Is there a way to 'fix' this instead of having multiple entries when I want to boot with a USB stick?
FYI, this particular USB stick was created by MiniTool Partition Wizard so I can boot from it and manage partitions.

Top USB entry unknown. update you may have your USB as first boot device, Windows Boot Manager should be first boot device.

UEFI: SanDisk entry, USB is UEFI mode bootable.

SanDisk entry, USB is Legacy mode bootable.

Ok the last two things you said I think I understand now.
The first entry though (above the boot manager) I believe I had to set up in BIOS so it would even boot from a USB. Should I remove that as one of the boot options in BIOS, and if so, will it still boot from any bootable USB media?

From the One Time Boot Menu, yes.
