Can't "Open" more than 15 files at once

I want to be able to highlight a load of media files and then press enter to open them in the program I've designated.

Windows apparently doesn't let you do it in case you accidentally open too many files, but I'd like to.

I found this solution for Windows 7:

Context menus are shortened when more than 15 files are selected

But Windows 8 doesn't appear to have that registry key, so I don't know if it's called something else maybe.

    Thanks.

    Hello Curtains,

It's the same in Windows 8. If the MultipleInvokePromptMinimum DWORD is not there in the registry, then it would just need to be created. If you like, OPTION ONE in the tutorial below can do this automatically for you, or OPTION TWO will show you how to do it manually.

    Hope this helps,
