Google thinks that my Internet Connection is slow... Help

Google thinks that my Internet Connection is slow... and showing me the Basic Version of image search view in Google Images. I can switch to Standard version. But when I initiate a new search, it goes to basic version. I'm running on a 1 Mbps connection... I've have checked my speed and no issues in it and its on 1 Mbps... I have tried clearing cookies and history and also checked in IE10 and Firefox.. Still the same Issue... Please help...

Unfortunately, what Google thinks has nothing to do with Windows 8 so if Google thinks your internet connection is slow (@1Mbp/s), there's nothing we can do to change Google's mind. The only thing I can suggest is to contact Google support and ask them what parameters they are using to determine what connection speed is slow. Good luck.

Check the Advanced Settings in Chrome. There may be something that is limiting your speed, like a Proxy or something.
