Hi there
over the last few weeks we've had load and loads of posts (usually from the same group of people) complaining about the SAME features that they believe should either be included or omitted from W8.
I think pretty well everyone on these Forums knows that obviously there are some issues with W8 but let's get the Forum back on track -- by helping people to get the BEST out of W8 / W8.1 either by using little known features (for example a lot haven't yet realized the usefulness of custom toolbars) or third party add ons such as menus / classic shell etc.
Ms isn't going to abandon W8 -- and with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism windows 9 (or whatever it might be called) might contain the BEST of both W7 and W8.
And also W8 itself isn't so difficult to use - even for desktop applications provided you do a little bit of work and don't give up after the first 30 mins or so. (I agree that we SHOULDN'T have to do all this work after installing the OS - so that's a fair criticism but even that has been posted to death too).
Anyway just my take on this one as I think a lot of people are simply getting bored reading the same old posts over and over again when really we should be concentrating on getting the best possible use out of W8/ W8.1
Cheers
