    How to open Certificate Manager

In windows Vista I could access Certificate Manager by clicking Start button, and typing certmgr.msc in search box. How do I get to Certificate Manager in Windows 8? Searching for certmgr.msc doesn't work.

    Thanks.

    Hello Dickey,

You could also press the + R keys to open the Run dialog, type certmgr.msc, and press Enter to open it. It's located in your "C:\Windows\System32" folder.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
