Notification problem

Hi guys, sorry if messing up forum rules or something, not sure if posting in the right section, I'm not really used to forums :).

So I have a problem which I could explain in a few lines...

Or I can just show you my problem, I attached a screenshot which perfectly describes it.

Any solutions? More explicitly, any ways of turning off these Windows notifications which appear when I use the Fn keys? I obiously don't need two notifications to tell me what's happening.

P.S. I use a Dell Inspiron 15R N5110, although this isn't quite relevant in this case...

Thanks fo the help in advance :).

That's your Volume Setting. It should ONLY appear when you press the fN button along with the appropriate key. It may be that one of your keys is stuck.

On my Dell Laptop, it's the fN and Page Up and Page Down keys that control the system volume, on yours it will be something similar.

You should NOT be using the fN key unless you are doing a control key combo, for instance if you are shutting your WiFi on or off or changing your display - Removing Quickset will not remove the function, that is hard coded into the system, and it is not a good idea, because you WANT that notification to pop up.

If you are hitting that FN key for any other reason, it is not a valid reason. That key is ONLY to be used in conjunction with the numbered F or other key specific to the function you are choosing. The available functions are clearly labelled on the appropriate keys.
