"App Caster for Android" Windows 8 Start-up Popup

A window with the title of "App Caster for Android" pops up everytime windows starts up. I'm not sure what this application is, does, or even where it came from. Is anyone familiar with this program? Thanks in advance!

I dunno - Let's do a googol for it, see what it is. Do you have a Droid? May be something installed by your Droid Support Software.

It's an App Sharing Tool for Droids, like I said, if you have a Droid, it may have been installed for you. It is part of Google Play.

Many Programs and Device support tyools install apps you don't see until later, for example, Quicken 2013 installs 'iSeek Answerworks" which is part of their support library. So don't fret, you have not been Virused ot Rootkitted.

What would you say if I said that I don't have a droid?

It came with Google Play, you should just delete it. You may have inadvertently installed it when installing something else, always use "advanced setup" if the option is given you when you install apps, and refuse any apps that come bundled with the apps you want. You can at least take it out of your Startup routine.
