I want my desktop icons to be arranged to a pattern I like. But whenever I do this Windows 8 will destroy my pattern randomly back to default. Is there a way to stop this? I have Auto arrange icons unchecked BTW.

I have Start8 and Windows 7 widget support installed if this makes a difference. (I don't want to remove or diable them)
Thanks

Iconoid? Thanx - I have the same problem. YES! What I needed was a way to save the Relative Positions - When I use LCARSx32 it moves everything down.

Well, it is kind of dangerous if you have all of the features active all at once. I just need my iCons to stay when I put them, I don't need to hide em or hide the taskbar. Is that supposed to save power? It locked me up last night, I think it was just too much it was trying to do, and after all I only have 2 GB Ram in this computer! Heh.

I only use the text color & position features.

I've never had problems with it.
