How to customise the start folder for programs

    Hallo,

This is my first post here so hope you can help me with this query.

At the moment I am still using Win 7 whilst I get Win 8 to my liking.

Prior to Win 8 you were able to set a program to start in a particular folder where all the relevant files for the program were stored. Can anyone point me to where this can still be done please.

    Thanks

Go to the Start Screen and right click the program you want. At the bottom select "open file location" and this will bring you to the shortcut. Right click the shortcut and select properties. This is for desktop programs.
