Sorry about the length but I wanted to describe in full

I recently installed windows 8 because 7 was giving me soo many problems. But it turns out that windows 8 is not being much better. I partitioned part of my harddrive so I can still move files over and stuff so when I turn on my computer it brings me to the Windows 8 Boot manager. I click on windows 8 and it brings me to a black screen. This is where I stay. It freezes so I have to restart my computer. This time itll start up and ill go to the Boot manager again. I click on 8 and it brings me to the screen right before you log in. I click on the screen that supposed to lift up, and nothing happens. I have to restart again. Now the rotating orbs at startup will say "Please Wait". It brings me to a screen that says something along the lines of "Your'e computer didnt start correctly which resulted in it being restarted. You should launch startup repair or restart again." Im not exactly sure but its something like that. I hit restart and this time it works perfectly. I am able to log in but while its logging in my screen will flash and I will get a message on my desktop saying "Display driver AMD driver has stopped working and successfully recovered" This same message will be displayed on every game I try to start up as well.

My other problems are listed on a different site. I didnt think to post them here because this is an Windows 8 forum so if you think you could help me out there too here is the link Soo many problems :: Help and Tips

Problems in a nutshell:
1. Freezing on startup
2. Screen flashing resulting in "Display driver AMD driver has stopped responding and successfully recovered" error.

On next boot, uninstall the video drivers from device manager

click the action tab on top and scan for new hardware

let windows install default drivers

reboot

use system, browse folders and web

reboot

run a few apps, if all ok then re-download and install your video drivers, do not use the cd/dvd nor the already downloaded driver package you previously downloaded.

If all is still not ok, check to make sure your graphics card fan is working and not overheating.

From command prompt run chkdsk /f
