    Videos lag, Please help.

    Hello.
(I dont know if this is the right section to post this in, but feel free to move it if its in wrong, and sorry for my english)

For like 5 days ago a video i was watching in fullscreen got rly low fps after a while, it lagged so much. So i canceld the fullscreen and it worked, So i put on fullscreen again and 2 mins after i got the same problem. It started to lag.
And now every video i watch, every stream i watch lags after a while. Takes like 1-2 minutes bfore it starts to lag. And if im not in fullscreen it takes maybe 5 mins.
My computer is just a half year (if even that) So i dont think its that.

I searched alot on google. Tried some things, disabling the adobe plugin, (chrome://plugins) Havnt worked. Did smth with hardware acceleration button. Didnt work.

So now im hopeing for you too help me.
And again im really sorry for my english.
    /Tobias.

Which Program(s) were you using to watch?

The questions I want to ask, 1) Are you running any kind of AV scan in the background, sometimes they run at scheduled times. 2) Is the system dong any "Defrag/Optimize" processes? I use Raxxo Perfect Disk and when it is running the same thing happens to me, I use VLC to watch most content. If your system is defragging or optimizing your drive, it WILL cause video stuttering and halting. 4) Are you using any of the Metro Apps to watch the video? Which one, some of these are less than stellar with playback.

Other things to consider are, what kind of Video card, is it HDMI, DVI, or SVGA? an nVidia card has settings - You have to tell it to use the settings which each application wants to use. nVidia has a control panel from which to set these settings.

There may be a cable or two hitting your Fan(s). No worries, I do this all day.
