How do i make shortcuts appear in windows explorer sidebar

Hello everyone,

First of all, Im new on 8forums so dont be mad if i posted this message on the wrong spot.
Second of all I wanted to ask if someone knows how to make shortcuts appear in the sidebar of your windows explorer. I have a shortcut of the online backup program Skydrive but it wont appear in my sidebar.
On the picture you can see what i mean with Side Bar etc.

SkyDrive is not shown, and cannot be shown, on the list of local drives. You need to scroll the list upwards to find Favorites, that's where the SkyDrive icon is located:

Hi Kari,

I know that it cant be located as a drive and i know its automaticly placed between favorites, But i dont want it between favorites. I made my personal files under my D drive in a folder "Personal files. If you look at the Side bar and expand "Computer" your drives appear. When i expand "D Drive" and then "personal files" the folders inside personal files appear but not the shortcut. I first just wanted my intire Original SkyDrive placed were the shortcut is but since i couldnt figure out how to do that i made a shortcut.
I hope im not to messy in writing and spelling.

For convenience, you could create a new folder called skydrive, and copy the shortcut there? Just a thought.

A good idea. About the only way to get what OP wants, I think.
