Use a USB thumb drive.

Everything is a digital file and can be copied and transferred. What sort of 'artwork' files are talking about?

Or try to use a online cloud storage site such as skydrive and dropbox.

Usually, both Windows Media Player and iTunes can be set up to download the artwork from the net automatically. VLC does this as well. The files have to be named and arranged in a certain format for this to work - Look at the way iTunes stores your albums and emulate that for Windows Media Player.

There is also a plugin for WMP that allows direct import from an iPod/phone. Its 20 bucks,m I bought it - But I can't remember what it was called! Heh.

Ah, you were talking about the associated cover photos etc for albums, not independent artwork. All of those should reside in the same folder as the downloaded music, they do in mine and I've copied them with USB and SD card without any issues. Odd that you haven't been able to do this.

I had to check the "show hidden files" on my Windows 8 after copying my music files to WMP 12. The album art .jpg files were hidden for some unknown reason.
