Solved printer not printing

I have a HP deskjet printer that has been working properly with windows 8. In the past few days when I try to print from email, or from a website I get a blank page. When I look at control panel the printer is shown as default but nothing prints..I am confused because it has been working for months. It appears the printer is installed properly, but the info is not transferring to the printer..A blank page with page 1 printed on the top is the only thing that prints. HELP....

first check the catridges whether there is ink. If not solved , uninstall all the drivers then reinstall .Restart the computer and printer. Hope works...

What model deskjet is it?
