Well, I do that by default anyway, even though I trust everyone here to post good links with clean programs. I don't trust this latest virus, which fools you into downloading a virus, by sticking a fake link into an otherwise safe download page. It even mimics the name of the original linked file. This is no reflection on you, it's just basic safety. Because I had been downloading zipped files from someone else and they suddenly started becoming EXE files, I thought "why would the guy post self-extracting zips or rars? But it was Zoomex instead.

So its got nothing to do with you, it's just good habit to scan everything regardless of where it originates from - Nobody here meant any insult to you by suggesting you were uploading viruses- It just that we have been hijacked away from legit links.

I know that was not directed towards me specifically. Look at my post #18 link and you will never have malware problems again.
