I am afraid I do not understand. Did it or did it not fix the problem with the dynamic partition.

My guess is, the Home version cannot convert a Dynamic Drive. It's still a good program, it's what I use - I never partition my drives Dynamically Once I lost 400 Gigs of irrecoverable Music Data on a drive - Months of work gone in a second and no way to get it back.

Yes, it did fix the problem. I was just complaining I had to pay for the upgraded program in order to fix it.

It's worth it - You can do a lot of stuff with that application. You are positive you could not do the same thing with the Home edition?

Your own fault. Had you downloaded the old 422 version that I had linked in post #8, you could have done it free of charge. I wonder why I am posting that stuff.

I was wondering WHY you posted that - Now I know the reason. Thanks, I'll get it. I didn't know it had the ability to manage Dynamic drives. I'll add it to my custom Hiren's Boot Disk, I also keep the latest version too.

I tried the home version first, it would not let me convert the disk. As downloading from the link, I wanted to be safe, I have gotten a virus before and I think it was from loading software from posts like you gave. The information was very helpful, Thank you.

You guys are really funny. One of you thinks that the program I linked cannot do the job and the other thinks that I link viruses. Where are we.

This Skydrive page is owned by SIW2 who was so kind to make it available to us. We should be grateful.

And if you think you are exposed to downloaded malware, do like I do. Safe Internet Browsing - Windows 7 Help Forums
