    Administrator FilePath

    Hi

I have a program that users a set of filepaths to obtain data. I have it running on 3 other PC's and now I want to also run it on mine. It grabs files from a shared dropbox folder.

In the other PC's the filepaths are all:

    C:/Administrator/Dropbox/etc

BUT in my PC the same files are stored in:
    C:/Alex/Dropbox/etc

I can't go in and change all the filepaths to my filepath, I need to ensure that the name "Alex" is replaced with "Administrator"

    How do I do that?

Administrator does not equal Alex so you can't. All I can think of to do is copy C:/Alex/Dropbox/etc/* to C:/Administrator/Dropbox/etc/ before running the program.

The other approach would be to abandon the built-in Administrator account on other PCs. Generally, it's a good idea, and it's quite easy. Just use Windows Easy Transfer (migwiz) to save files and settings, then create another account (Alex) and use migwiz to import the settings.
