How do I put Hibernate on the Power Menu?

I want "Hibernate" on the power menu. I can get to the power mgt. window, which appears to give me an option to check a box to put Hibernate on the power menu, but clicking on that box fails to actually put a checkmark there,

Any suggestions as to how I get Hibernate on the power menu?

Hello Krusty, and welcome to Eight Forums.

It sounds like you may not have hibernate enabled. Enabling hibernate should add it to your Power menu afterwards.

    Hope this helps,

Should be in there, so yah it's probably disabled. If you upgraded or made your own PC, the driver may not be in there for the Chipset which controls all of the power options. Use Brinks Links but if that fails, show us your Device Manager.
