    One way is to enable favorites in the navigation page.

    Apologies.

    Curious though, does your file explorer look like this?

    Favorites in the navigation pane is under: C:\Users\(User)\Links --> (User) is your user name.

    If this is what you want. Please mark it "SOLVED". Thanks

    @Medab
    1. C:\Users\Medab 1\Favorites will not show what he wants. The Favorites from Navigation Pane is under: C:\Medab 1\Links
    2. He does not want a shortcut.

    Hello Jimbo,

    If you like, you could use the tutorial below to create a new shortcut that opens directly to Favorites, pin it to taskbar, and unpin the original one.
    This is the path it uses, if you wanted to just change the target of the original pinned File Explorer icon on the taskbar.

    %windir%\explorer.exe shell:::{323CA680-C24D-4099-B94D-446DD2D7249E}

    Interesting, but still easier to pin favorites to the start screen or start menu.
    Why modify the file explorer results to that of a shortcut?

    Just create a send to desktop shortcut icon on the desktop if that is where one wants to be.
    Whatever ..., each to their own.

    One of the benefits of the start screen is to reduce the need to create desktop shortcuts. The start menus available can also show the favorites folder. Whatever floats your boat.

    It's easier to use the start screen.

    I was using the File Explorer pinned to my taskbar.
    Like you did in your picture.
