    Movie Maker

Hi, I have been using Movie Maker in W8 to edit video (MP4 H.264) files. I can't figure out how to burn movie to disc. I have dvd burner software but can't load movie to it. Does anyone know how I might do this? If not possible any suggestions for alternative video editor/burner software please.
    Thanks

Thanks for replies Bassfisher & Medab, but there is no burn to disc option on the latest version of WMM. The screenshot put up by Medab is I think WMM version 2.6. Thanks

Really? Yow! I'm Installing Windows Live Essentials 2012 right now, I want to check this out. I have MM 2.6 on this machine, left over from XP...

He's right - Absolutely NO "Burn to Disk" option, only options to save for various Device formats. I am sure in the Windows 7 version there was a save to disk, I thought I remembered using it.

Oh well, then save it to a an XviD or other Hi Def format, then use ConvertXtoDVD to burn it to a disk, I've converted MKv's to DVDs using that.

I have Windows live essentials 2012 Movie Maker and Photo Gallery. It's looking like with Movie Maker you have to Publish it (save it to your computer in a selected format) then use windows 8 natively to burn to DVD or what ever software you have to burn to DVD. That sucks...in the older version of Live Essential there was a tab you could click to burn straight to DVD.

Anyone have the old installer? All I can find is the web stub installer. Maybe they got it at Oldversion.com - Nope! They don't - You search for Movie Maker and the malware-strewn kLite Kodec Pack pops up.

The option to burn disc to DVD is missing in my version of Movie Maker version 2012 build 16.4.3505.0912...so I wonder what the heck is going on.....AAYCEE looks like your right. Crap...time to do some digging.

I'm afraid there is no option in windows live 2012 to save your movie files to your HDD in any form, only to publish to the web.
If your running W8, as I am, MS download site detects this and won't let you have an earlier version. The most useful version was available for W7.
