    Save to disk or folder

You can save to computer or CD or DVD.
    Click File/Save Project/ & choose where.
    Folder like My Videos.
    Or CD or DVD drive.

Thanks for reply Medab I tried that. All it saves for me is MM project file (52KB) not the complete movie. The project file accesses the clips/files stored on the HDD.

Tested this with my Windows phone 8 1080p video. Imported to MM save movie for HD Display to DVD after it was done it will prompt you to either play it or exit.

You can also click "Save Movie" and select" For Computer", select the DVD drive and the pop up will request "Insert the CD"(in my case as I didn't have any disk in my drive).

Yeah you guys are right...but that's the long way of going about doing it and it seems to be the only way to do it now in the 2012 version. In 2011 there was a tab...click and burn...you were done...so why is it so complicated in 2012. I just don't get it..

It's probably because everything is geared towards mobile devices these days. When you go into the save movie tab there's a plethora of devices to export the file to. They could have easily added the burn to disc switch to that menu but like the start button it's just gone.
