    Full Icon Text on desktop

    As the thread title says. Anyone found out how to untruncate long text titles on the desktop? The old method with Advanced options in the personalise windows is no longer.

    A recent update may have changed that. You need to go into settings concerning layout and formatting in personalise windows.

Hello pals, recently as I was multitasking on my HP W8 Pro I found my Metro UI had been corrupted or I might have done some CCleaner corruption ... Any help?
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display I can change my desktop icon text size, from 9 to 11 Each time I restart my "Microsoft windows eight", the size is resert to 9.
I don't know what to call the old desktop since the tile version is called Metro. But when working on the old desktop version and you want to clear everything off the screen and just view the desktop, where is the button for this? XP had this button, but cant find it on W8.

Blurry Text in IE10 Desktop in Browsers & Mail
Text in IE10 Desktop on my machine is blurry. Clear Type Tuner doesn't help. In Windows Explorer and Firefox 11.0 text is fine. Any ideas? :think:
