Internal HD listed under Portable Devices

Why is one of my four internal hard drives listed as a Portable Device in Device Manager?

Removing it from Portable Devices does not remove it from Disk Drives and then it all looks normal and functions normal, until I scan devices or Windows reboots.

It also functions normal when it is listed in both spots, Disk Drives and Portable Devices, just annoys the hell out of me me that one drive is listed under Portable Devices, I want it gone from there.

If it is a SATA drive, it may show up like that... I think it puts them under removable so you can HotSwap. Does it show the Boot drive as this as well?

Recently lost my Windows 8 on my main PC, had to go back to Windows 7.
All on the same bus? Is the SATA slot this is connected to, a different colour then the rest? I have a Dell Precision 370 that has one Blue Sata Slot.

I just need to add, on Both of the laptops I have had, the internal drive was always listed as a portable device. But those were both Core Duos with Intel Chipsets. Is it an Intel Controller?

Yes it is an Intel chipset.

Thing is if it listed all four drives then I could understand, but to just list one is strange.

I'm really good with PCs, this one has me stumped. If I physically remove the drive, one of the other internal drives becomes this Portal Device.
