Lunch doesn't have a time zone. Neither have I.

Is there any way to get the Windows 8 and Hotmail calendars to keep appointments and not shift them around when my computer changes its time zone?

I always eat lunch at 1 PM, it doesn't change when I fly to Ireland from Germany.

And when I make an appointment with someone in Israel at 6 PM in a week's time, I really do not want to calculate what the difference is to my current time zone so as to avoid having dinner at 4 PM or 8 PM depending on wether I was east or west of Jerusalem at the time of making the appointment.
Basically I want the calendar to work like a paper calendar. If I tell that I will do X at time Y, I want X to remain set for Y, not Y+Z with Z being the difference in hours between the two time zones, the one I will be in and the one I am in when making the appointment.
    What should I do?

    Hi there
I tend to use a phone for appointments - but I think on a computer there is some software (paid) to do this
    Godot & Co

I haven't tried this so I don't know if it's any good - the phone though does it all automatically.

    Cheers

Hi, thanks for replying. But you confuse me.

    The phone does what automatically?

There is a calendar program on Windows 8 and on the Web with Hotmal. I assume a Windows Phone uses the same calendar.

The problem is that that calendar moves my appointment around based on the timezone I'm in. "Automatic" is basically what I am trying to avoid.
