Cant drag and drop any files after installing vmware

hey guys

recently i installed vmware because i work with it alot, after doing so and sharing 1 folder with vmware, i cant drag and drop any files anymore. it just suddenly stopped working

Hi there,

First make sure the VM tools are installed and the service is started (gray icon in notification).
What always works is resizing the window and then drag and drop again. If it still doesn't work: copy-paste (ctrl+c ctrl+v) should still do it.

oh i dont mean dragging and dropping the vmware, i mean in windows 8 itself i suddenly cant drag and drop anything locally between folders or my desktop
