    can't open regedit

I was trying to change modify on something that was on a website. Remove ballon on taskbar. Here's the link: How to Stop Taskbar Balloons | eHow.com The balloons are still there. Now I can't open the regedit. Nevermind I open it by going to search C:\Windows\system32, can you find regedt32.exe
but it won't open on start search.

    Hello Rose,

The file for Registry Editor is located at the path below.

    C:\Windows\regedit.exe

Balloon notifications are just the messages you get at the taskbar notification area. Is that what you were wanting to disable?

    Hope this helps for now,
    Shawn

Rose is talking about the taskbar icon name pop-up after a second or two of hovering the pointer on it like below.

    Rose,

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any way to disable this pop-up.
