    Does Fast Startup Drain Power?

I wanted to know if fast startup drains power cause i know sleep drains a bit and hibernate draws even less.
I have a desktop pc and i just want to know if for example it is better to use the CMD full shutdown or disable fast startup when i want to leave for holidays or the weekend for example so i can save some money from my bill :P

    Hello orestisssss,

Fast startup is intended to respond after a complete power down so you are not draining any additional power when the power is off. Enjoy your vacation!

Goals of fast startup/hybrid hibernate: "Our challenge then, was to design a way to meet all of these desires on today’s PCs without requiring some special new hardware. These were our goals:

    • Effectively zero watt power draw when off
    • A fresh session after boot
    • Very fast times between pressing the power button and being able to use the PC."

    Apparently the goals were satisfied.
