Opening the menu containing the Taskbar?

Why can't I open the menu containing the Task Bar in the bottom left corner by touch on my touchscreen, but I can open it by right clicking with a mouse?

    Hello Robin,

Are you able to press and hold on an empty area of the taskbar to open the context menu?

Yes, I can get the Task manager that way it's true Brink, but I should have explained that I can't open the more extensive menu that is available by right clicking in the bottom left corner of the screen. Is there a special way of opening it by touch?

Ah, you're talking about the "Power Users Tasks Menu".

You should be able to move the pointer to the lower left corner of any connected display screen until you see the Start pop-up, then press and hold on the Start pop-up to open it.

The problem is Brink is that I can't seem to get that Start to open up in the bottom left corner by touch alone. I can only get it to open by pad or mouse. You'd think it would be touch-sensitive wouldn't you?

See if swiping up from the left corner will show the Start pop-out to then press and hold on the Start pop-up to open it.

No, I've tried swiping it, eachway, upways, sideways, & backways & I can't even get the Start pop-up to appear. I'll just have to use the pad, or the mouse if I've go it handy. I've tried not to use either of these items though & do everything by touch. It's the only touch problem I've come up against so far with this new Acer notebook.

Yep, it appears that the Power User Tasks Menu doesn't have a way to open it using a touch method.
