Change the format of Date Modified in Explorer

The Modified date of files in Windows Explorer is shown as Today - Yesterday - Friday ..... and if it's older than a week as a date 13/02/2013.

Is there any way to always show the modified column as date and not day-of-week?

    thank you.

    Hello Tera,

Go to Control Panel> Date and Time> click change date and time> click change calendar settings> click date tab:
(Make changes in red box to suit your desired taste - see below)

    Cheers!

    thanks for the quick response.

I have exactly the same settings. But windows explorer shows friendly (days of weeks) format for recently changed files.

I believe the above settings you mentioned is used when the date is going to be shown as date.
There should be some settings somewhere in registery to show/hide friendly format because I can't find it anywhere in GUI.
