Hi there,
I just bought a Win8-installed ASUS 360 Notebook and attempted to downgrade to Win7. I poked around in some online forums to figure out how to boot from my Win7 installation DVD. I followed the directions and disabled "Secure Boot", switched from booting with "UEFI" to "CSM", and then disabled other boot options thinking I wouldn't have a problem re-booting after Win7 was installed. Unfortunately, I encountered an unexpected problem and am unable to install Windows to any disk, as they are of the GPT partition style. So the plan was to call it a day and stick it out with Win8, but now I am unable to boot from my hard drive at all. I can't access my boot menu to change them back (F2 does nothing) and the only bootable device is my Win7 installation DVD.
Is there anything I could do to fix the problem or have I royally screwed up here?
