For experienced users who hate Metro...
All you need is Windows Explorer/File Explorer/File Manager.
Combine that with an elevated command line, you needn't ever use Metro OR the desktop.
NOT for novices, but we ran Win 3x that way, back in the day, (only way you could
get 'productive' with it) and despite all the changes since, if you know how, you can
STILL run Win 8 the same way. But you DO need to know your file structure, backwards.
I wouldn't run my NT4 setup any OTHER way. Didn't 'stop' running my OS that way until Win 7.
Been trying it on 8. It still works. You still can.
But 'ware wire'.... Newbies, do NOT try this at home...
