HELLO FRIENDS,
I just installed win 8. I have two partitions for my hard drive, C and D, of which I can't access to D Drive. It shows " access denied". When I go to the disk management D Drive shows healthy. I've put a screen shot for reference. Please help.

Hi Venkidi and welcome to Eightforums.

I have some questions about your problem. Did you create the D drive while installing Windows 8? Or did the D drive already existed? Did you do a clean installation on C or did you do an upgrade? Was the D drive accessable in the old situation?

You might have a rights problem with the D drive. Please clarify the situation a litte more so I can give you good advice.

Cheers!

Thank you friends.
It was a permission issue. I changed the permission to "everyone" and it worked.
Thanks for your time
