Hey everyone,
I have windows 8 pro-64 bit on a Lenovo Thinkpad e430 with i7-3632, 8gb ram, 500 gb 7200 rpm HDD. NOT touchscreen.
So, my problem is this random glitch that sometimes when I touch the trackpad( which has windows 8 support) the windows will switch. for example: I will have chrome open and Ill touch the trackpad with one or 2 fingers on the left edge, but not in the side bar, and the window will change to graffiti radio, which i just closed by pressing the windows button. What is causing this? Its driving me nuts!!
Thanks

Hello kingme, and welcome to Eight Forums.

It sounds like the edge swipes feature of the trackpad that can be used to open app Switcher like that. You could use the method in the tutorial below to disable edge swipes to stop this.

Hope this helps, :)

Hey,
That is the right idea, but the way to turn it off is different for Lenovo Thinkpads? Which I can not seem to find?

Thanks

And wow, I figured it out. Just go into the search option from the start page. type in: edge swipe. go to the settings option. Its the only option, switch it to off
and done
