What do you mean by "an old windows 8 installation media"? Do you mean the Release Preview, the Consumer Preview, etc? If so, they have expired and you won't be able to do anything with them.

If you installed the final released version, then you may be able to boot from the DVD and select Automatic Repair.

http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2843-automatic-repair-run-windows-8-a.html

Depending on the state of your system (and how updated the drivers and BIOS is), you may not be able to recover this installation of Win8. Please describe in more detail how you installed Windows 8.

Yes I tried Automatic repair but after it says that the repair is finished then after that again the black screen appears

As it is an inspiron laptop so It didn't ship with the Windows Installation DVD. I didn't even make any recovery media :(

tomorrow I will send my laptop to the service centre.
I think its not the problem of Windows but of the hardware.

You can redownload the installation media, but it is a real pain with computers with Windows 8 pre-installed (not to mention the legality is debateable.

Your best bet is probably to bring it in.

Cool avatar btw

Thanks.....:) But when I went to the Dell Service center it was found out that it was the fault of the Motherboard and the GPU and these both were totally corrupted. As it was their fault so they offered me to replace the laptop and I took A dell XPS 15.

Hope it will work flawlessly.......

Thanks.... :)
