I have a new lap top with windows 8 . So much to learn! I do not know how to see the time and date. It suddenly appears on lower left for some reason but I cannot see where to access it when I want it. I am happy that I have found this forum as Windows 8 does not look like fun!!!! Thanks.

Hello Maine Lady, and welcome to Eight Forums.

The "Metro" clock displays anytime you open the Charms bar. Pressing the Windows + C keys is a keyboard shortcut for it.

It does take a bit to get used to the new Metro style UI in Windows 8, but once you do, you'll find Windows 8 just as easy to use as Windows 7.

Hope this helps, :)
Shawn
