    New PC Frequent Crashes

I have a new PC, just 3 days since delivery that crashes all the time. Spec is below. The crashes can happen at any time, even at the log in screen. However, at times it has run for over an hour without crashing. At no time is a BSOD or any error message produced.
The supplier support has asked me to increase the CPU VCORE TO 1.25v which I have done. Still it crashes.
I have gradually installed all Windows updates that I can in between the failures. There are 10 updates that fail with a Code 80073712 error. I have tried to correct this by running DISM.exe but often a crash occurs when this is running.
Be really grateful for any guidance. I've been at this for nearly 3 days and am exhausted!

    Spec is:
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3470 Quad Core 3.20 GHz 6MB Cache LGA1155 + HD Graphics

Don't think the updates would help. But, getting them to install is a separate problem. If your crash problem cannot be solved by the supplier, then I would return it. Maybe you'd want to try another of the same model, but, then, maybe not.

To take a stab, you could try turning fast startup/hybrid shutdown off. Fast Startup - Turn On or Off in Windows 8

Frequent Random Crashes in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
About 1-2 weeks ago I had frequent BSOD's at startup, "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (iaStorA.sys)". As of the last week I haven't gotten a single one again. Instead I am now getting freezes/crashes and I'm not sure what to do as as far as I know these crashes don't leave much information...
Frequent Bad Pool Caller BSOD Crashes in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
I have recently started getting Bad Pool Caller crashes, probably about twice a day for the past week. If anyone could figure out how to fix it that would be great.
My Sony Vaio Tap 11 (model: SVT1121C5E) runs very unstable ever since I bought it about 3 months ago. Almost every day the system crashes, sometimes multiple times. Sometimes with prior bluescreen, Windows colleting data and then stopping at 100%. Occasionally the device shuts down and...
Frequent Crashes? in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
I'm having random crashes, for a while often when I played boderlands 2, though this seems to have stopped. The frequency varies greatly, from over a dozen times in a day to a week of quiet activity. I've taken a look and some of it seems to stem from hard drive issues, but I'm not sure about the...

Well, as the title says, the os crashes, every time after I do something for a few seconds after logon. Sometimes it's some threading error, and sometimes memory management. I'm using the latest virtualbox, with a virtualized amd athlon x2 5000+ and 2gb guest RAM. Any ideas?
