Unmount an ISO Drive

Hi. I used my BD to load an ISO file and it mounted a CD Drive (F:) to accomplish that. I know to unmount the drive you need to right click and 'Eject' it. However, my 'Eject' option is greyed out and not available. Until I unmount that drive, I am not able to use my physical Blue Ray Drive. Any tips on how to accomplish this? Thank you in advance...Ron

Hi Brink...Thank you for the quick reply. I had already tried that (first option) two days ago, but no luck. Tried again a few minutes ago and still no joy. This quit being funny a while ago. Any other ideas? Thank you once again....Ron

Is the BD empty?

Do you have the BD and mounted ISO listed separately in Disk Management (diskmgmt.msc)?

If not, did the mounted ISO use the same drive letter that the BD had?

You might also check using OPTION TWO in the tutorial below to make sure that the BD and mounted ISO have different drive letters.

Hi Brink....The BD is empty (no physical disc), but the ISO Drive obviously is not..I used it to install Windows Office 2013 Pro and those files are still resident. They have separate Drive letters: D: for the BD ROM and F: for the ISO drive, but in Disc Management the BD is listed, but the ISO Drive is NOT. I deleted the F: drive in REGEDIT - no joy - the ISO Drive is still there and locking up the BD ROM Drive. I'd like to avoid restoring to a point before the Office install - I hate that. I'm at a loss. Any other suggestions??

Did you try changing the drive letters, and restarting afterwards to see if that may toggle it back?
