Okay, so I upgraded from windows 8 normal OS to windows 8 PRO. And now it's saying I'm on a trial so my only question is what happens when it expires, does my computer automatically downgrade to the version of windows my PC had when I bought it? Or does it just delete everything in general. I would just like an answer ASAP please. Thanks!

If the Grace Period expired, it will show that your Windows is not genuine.
You will need to enter the product key and activate it.

Microsoft will send the FBI over to retrieve your compter. At that point they hold it for ransom until you buy another license, so I have been told by very important people on this site. . .:haha:

If it doesn't go back, and I don't think it will, then it enters reduced functionality mode. I looked for a link, but could not find. I read about what happens in this mode in 8, but can't remember the specifics. I do remember that the article said that what happens is not as severe an in prior Win OS's, but still is quite annoying.

Reduced Functionality Mode has been removed since Windows Vista Service Pack 1.
Now it only shows nag-screen and bi-hourly shutdown.
