Crash post Windows8 upgrade

Hi to everybody i'm new in this forum and this is also a good opportunity to say hi to all.
I'd like to explain my problem, yesterday i restarted my pc after the normal windows upgrade and then i power off it today i start my pc as normal but at the normal login page after the password i can access on my computer it restart everytime the login page. why? what i've done?

As I understand, you upgraded to Win 8 and can't log in ?

- What was your previous OS ? (XP, Vista, Win7)

- Did you do a clean install upgrade or upgrade that saves your files ?

(Note: A person has to be patient with this forum. It is far below the Win7 forum in terms of responses and knowledge)

No i always haved on this pc just windows 8 professional i've done the normal update

So you upgraded to Win8 Pro or are you referring to Windows Updates from MSN ?

But to clarify, you cannot log on/sign-in, is that correct ? In other words, you cannot get past the sign in page ?


May I also suggest you use "Google" to search for the answer. It will have more references, one of which will be Microsoft Customer Service that you may want to contact. Another idea, if possible, is to "refresh" your PC. Click bottom right corner, Settings, General, scroll down to refresh or repair your PC.

You can roll back updates in Control Panel > Windows Update > View update history. and, you could try Automatic Repair - Run in Windows 8.
