When I restart my computer on windows 7, there's an option to hit F12 to chose boot options. I got a computer with windows 8, and now that option is gone! How do I get it back?

PC Model: Lenovo G580

By the way, ignore my system specs. That's my desktop, I'm talking about a laptop.

Most likely its not really the old shutdown. Its that funny swapfile hibernate thing or waking from sleeping, so its not showing the F2 or F12.
I mostly use restart, then when it flashes the Lenovo/bios screen, push the f12. Be ready to push anykey too fast when it pops some text - mine goes really fast past that message that says push anykey to select boot drive. I don't have time to even read that short message.

Found out, there's a button next to the power button that does it.

Little recessed button next to power button = One Key system restore. Installs windows fresh from the restore partition.

Yeah, it goes to OneKey restore (I think it's incredibly stupid they put in a physical button for junkware - No way to uninstall that) when the PC is on but when it's off it goes to the BIOS menu.

If you dig around at the forums.lenovo.com website you might find the engineering DVD download. Then you can replace that oem image Lenovo_Part , with an image of your current working windows. Pretty easy to do.

Try these:
1) Disable safe mode in Control panel>Power options>Change what closing lid does (or change when to sleep)>Tick the option reading 'change settings which are currently unavailable'>Disable Fast Startup under shutdown settings.
2)Visit the manufacturer's site and find the correct drivers for BIOS for your pc model.
