What do you want to see in windows 8? :) I would like to see a new kinda 3D desktop (You know the one where they have 4 desktops and you can switch between them ;)) and ofcourse a new layout. What would you like to see? :p

Hmm.. the desktop's you refer to are you talking about something similar to 'workspaces' in linux?

I'd like to see a nice new GUI thats fresh, clean and elegant.

- Libraries' expanded to network locations (some workarounds in W7 but at a performance loss)
- Improved Home Group functionality (I run a domain so I don't care too much but would be nice for the friends\family that end up calling me for help)

I want a unique easy as well as advanced UI.
New software should be included with it.
Security features enhancement.
And performance enhancement.
That is all for now...

How about included Microsoft Morro (or something similar virus protection)? :D

I'd like to see this as well but it is a very delicate game Microsoft has to play when introducing features that 3rd party companies hold a monetary share in. Personally I think it is ridiculous that they can't as long as there is the option to uninstall\disable the feature.

My Computer

I'll be interested to see how they move to the cloud

Me too. I'd like a cloud service for user profiles and Azure based applications. (If you haven't checked out Azure registration is open for your personal site, I'm actually moving Yammm to it.)

Support for self hosted Azure services and cloud storage as well. (Basically improved WHS functionality)

I'd also like to see an improved Live Mesh and better integration.

My Computer

New UI...
Cloud technology...
AV solution included...
Virtual Drive included...
Native .rar integration...
Image Editor and Viewer improvements...
Movie maker improvement with Dvix and other codecs integration...
Native Torrent integration...
WMP improvements...
Native blu-ray integration...
IE improvements
To be continued... lol

Apart from all the rock tough solid features which we are going to discuss I'd like to see something related or inspired by "Sun Looking Glass" and "Beryl" in UI. Actually I'm way impressed by those eye candies... I know its not difficult for microsoft to make all those things...

My Computer

I am just having trouble looking past the AERO theme for me...some people feel it is getting dated but I wouldn't care if they stick with it for Windows 8 (providing they do tweak some things)
