Is it Windows Me or Windows 2000?

Thanks! I never had ME installed on any home PC, so I think that was Win98. It could have been Win2K, though... Back then, overclocking required a bit of wizardry and a lot of luck!

Tony, I've owned two VW vans, one was a 1969 and the other was a 1985 Westfalia. Loved them both...
I had a "I miss Jerry" bumper sticker, tie-dyed curtains and a small Jerry Garcia doll in the back seat...

Wow! You "Hipster" you! I'm a Zep Head, but I enjoyed company with the Dead Heads. The VW Microbusses were the rage!

I had a stripped basic '72 Dodge maxivan that I customized. It didn't even come with a passenger seat or radio. I don't have a digitalized pic of it and I'd have to dig it up, but the pic below gives you an idea. (No spoiler)

It was Gold with chrome bumpers. I bought chrome mags with wider tires. Air shocks installed in the rear. I put front and rear bucket seats in it that would swing around to a table. Insulated the walls/ceiling and paneled them. Built stereo speaker cabinets on the sides just behind the side back door with 12" woofers, a midrange, and tweeters. Built a bed in the back with storage underneath with access from the back doors. I installed parallelogram windows on the sides & rear doors and had brown paisley-patterned padded vinyl installed around the upper exterior all the way around from the back of the front doors. It was an automatic tranny with an Old Style beer tapper handle for a shifter.

A machinist buddy of mine helped me put another alternator with voltage regulator on the engine, ran cables to charge three auto batteries under the bed storage, and installed a 12V DC to 120V AC converter which ran a full blown Amp I had in the speaker cabinets. I ran a volume control to the dash and an 8-track player on the engine cowl. It would go BOOM, BOOM, BOOM down the road long before 12V amp systems we have now a days.

She was quite the beauty and talk of the town! Dubbed "The Love Bus". My heart sank the day I had to let her go in 1978! I had to get serious with a work truck. Ugh! It was worse than breaking up with a girlfriend!

Oh! Boys with our toys no matter what toys they are!

Wow Hippsie Gipsy!!! What a car. Well, actually I should say truck! I recon that my own car can fit in that 'monster' three times over?

Art, I noticed the feeble attempt for cable management. I wouldn't call it feeble though. A lot of people had air corrupting and thus dust clogging cable management in their pc's, back in 2000. I fixed a lot of pc's back in those days and always started armed with a mouthcap and vacuum cleaner .

Since you have never installed ME, then obviously it is 2K, note the My Computer Icon, and compare it to this:

    Cool van!!

    Tony,
Cool van! I bet that thing rocked! I am also a Zeppelin fan but my favorite music is Little Feat, Allmann Brothers, SRV, blues and southern fried rock (Dixie Dregs, The Outlaws, etc...). I am trung to find pics of my '69 VW van I had when I was in the USN, but here are a few of my Westfalia (camping with family) and my Porsche 911, that I had from 2002-2010.

Yep, W2K was my favorite OS for quite awhile. I hated the lack of "plug and play", but compared to previous OS's, it was pretty good...
