    Attempting to repair

Hi, I got a problem with my pc. I make a dual boot, window 7 which is on C driver and windows 8 which on D driver. I just remove my windows 8 by format the driver D. But sadly when I restart my pc, the windows 8 attempting to repair appear. I already wait for 3hours but still, nothing happen. I cant even go to my windows 7. So what should I do? I don't want to format my pc as I didn't do any backup for it. Thanks.

Do you have the windows 8 installation dvd or iso ?

When you installed Win8, it most likely wrote its boot loader files to where the Win7 files were. If you had "uninstalled" Win8, it might have cleaned that up and left you with the original Win7 boot -- but when you simply removed the "drive", that didn't happen.

What you need to do is replace the Win8 boot loader files with Win7 files -- which you can do by running Startup Repair from a Win7 Installation DVD.

IF you don't have that, anyone else you know that has Win7 can create a burn a Win7 Repair CD by using the Backup feature from inside Win7.

Can you post a printscreen from the disk management? Then we can examine what the problem can be.
