Thanks for the printscreens. It seems to me that somehow Windows can no longer see your E partition. That is screwed up (excuse les mots!).

I do not know any methods under Windows to reclame a lost partition other then trying to repair the MBR. But considering the fact that the other two partitions are occupied by an OS I don't think it will do much good. You are into the datarecovery now!

These are your options in my honest opinion:
    1. If you have a backup of E ==> don't bother, create a new partition and replace the backup.
    2. If you don't have a backup of E ==> you might try to install some datarecovery software and try that. The programs I use for recovery are "GetDataBack" and "RecoverMyFiles". Google for the installation files. But only use it if you KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
    3. If you don't have a backup of E and datarecovery software is not an option ==> try booting throug a LINUX DISTRO CD (yes...Linux). There is a good chance that Linux WILL SEE the E partition. In that case COPY the files via Linux to an external HDD.
    4. Pray, drink a bottle of wine and take your loses.

For the future. Keep a backup of your files. If you don't have the luxury to do that. At least ==> Keep your OS on another fysical HDD, always!!!

Good luck mate, because I know you are going to need it!!!

That's good to hear that you will suffer no data loss!!!

I'd wipe the entire drive and start from scratch

What has this got to do with the original topic? And, it's a "drive" not a "driver".

Please don't hijack this thread for a very different problem -- please start your own thread.

No offence Mark Phelps, but if you've taken the time to READ this thread you would notice that:

    a) azbondz is the TS
    b) the TS another additional problem encoutered and our help with it needed
    c) I the TS a few worthwhile tips gave which eventually helped the TS to solve it's problems.

So there is no hijacking at all here, just a person in computer distress.
