My PC info is in detail at my profile if needed.
I have switched over to a MS account. The Tiles for Mail, Calendar and People were present on the metro start page even as it was a local account. But they only take me to a splash screen with the icon for the app and then returns to the metro start page. I believe I actually added those 3 tiles somehow while it was a local PC account. Now that I have switched and I do an UPDATE, it shows "no updates needed" or something to that effect.
Do you suppose that I need to uninstall the old tile apps and then maybe windows 8 would detect the need for installing them properly? Your help would be greatly appreciated! jack
