Okay so I got a Windows 8 laptop for Christmas (yay me and its pretty awesome)
Back to the problem...
Yesterday I had to download WinRAR to be able to open up some files and during the setup it only asked me once if I wanted to download a toolbar. I said no... but after I closed the setup and opened Internet Explorer, this "Internet Search" tool bar is here and I can't remove it! It's annoying because I can't click a link that opens up a new tab but instead of going to the link it goes to this "Internet Search".... I tried removing it from my Add-Ons but that didn't seem to work either.

Try to system restore out of the toolbar. Go Control Panel > Recovery > Open system restore. You shouldn't have to go back too far to do so; thus, presumably few programs will be uninstalled.

Look in the Add/Remove Programs too in the Control Panel. Sometimes those toolbars will show up there so you can remove it.

You first have to identify which toolbar is installed. Is it the Google toolbar, or the Ask toolbar, or any other.

Then you can try uninstalling it trough Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. You also might want to check out the site of the toolbar's manufacturer. Especially the Ask toolbar is hard to remove. Most of the times the manufacturer has additional uninstallation software/ manual posted on their websites.

And for the next time ==> Thirst read, then think, then think again, then reconsider, then untick the box, then press next!

WinRAR does not install any toolbars. I think you must have installed malware pretending to be WinRAR (it probably did install WinRAR as well, but it was wrapped in a malware installer).

I would download malwarebytes anti-malware and run that. You can also try to look for the toolbar in your installed programs and uninstall it. Or worst case, you can bring up the add-on manager in IE and disable it.

apart from the download speed i am very happy with this build, even though my bulldozer is un=overclockable.
Thanks for the help you guys ;) I tried removing it from my Programs and Features from Control Panel like you said, but it still didn't go away :/

Also...the tool bar is just called "Internet Search".....it never asked me yes or on if I wanted this to be downloaded or not sooo....

Did you try my suggestion? "Try to system restore out of the toolbar. Go Control Panel > Recovery > Open system restore. You shouldn't have to go back too far to do so; thus, presumably few programs will be uninstalled."

Post a pic, so we can see it more clearly. And yes it can be disabled or uninstalled.
