Changing displayed language

I'm English but live in Greece. I've just purchased a laptop with Windows 8 installed. I asked the store if the copy of Windows was in English. They said that I just needed to change the language settings to English. I've changed the Keyboard, and Language = Windows display language Enabled (override) Keyboard layout: US I've also set the Location to UK. Even with all of these changes some of the menu is still in Greek.

Example: When I right click on the desktop I get the following items appear in the popup menu.

View
Sort By
Refresh
Paste
Paste shortcut
Next desktop background
Then 2 items in Greek
New
Screen resolution
Personalize

I need everything on the menu to be in English.

Any suggestions or answers much appreciated.

Hi Proto Type,

Thanks for the suggestion, already tried it. English appears to be the default language most items (Windows menu items) are in English with the odd Greek entry. I'll get a Greek friend to translate them to see what they say.
