Bought a new desktop with windows 8 installed (64 bit). I'm jumping from XP (no longer supported) and am having major problems adjusting to 8. I'm 66 yo, use my pc for email, music, news etc. and am not interested in most of the features on the new system, so also not interested in investing the time to learn. Is there a way to revert back to windows 7, or must I purchase Windows 7? I'm not a tech person so go easy on me. thanks for any help.

I downloaded Start8, which does basically the same thing and it is easier to maneuver but when I have normal issues i.e. program freezes etc. I have problems solving them. I know with time I'll learn but at my age I have better things to do and would rather go back to what I know. Old dog new tricks maybe. thanks for the response.
