When I play a game that changes my resolution and then leave the game, the Start interface is still at the games resolution. I have manually changed the resolutions to see if it would changed back but it is still stuck. The only way that I've found to change it back is to log off then back on. Anyone experience this problem and found a way to solve it?

Windows 8 Pro x64 w/WMC (its a upgrade that I've used as a full version, installed twice to get full)
EVGA Geforce GTX 550 ti driver v. 210.70

FYI, not related to your problem, but NVidia 210.70 has a severe vulnerability in it that viruses are using to take over systems. You should upgrade to 210.90, which fixes it.

Reinstalling (or better yet, upgrading as I suggested) the video driver MAY solve the problem. It sounds like it's definitely driver related.

hmmm ok didn't see that one. I've upgraded and still same problem. I'm thinking that this might be both driver and windows problem. I'm thinking that windows isn't seeing that the game released control and kind of "forgets" to reset the resolution. I've seen this crop up every now again with windows and drivers.
