    Just as a bonus question Dom, when you have that issue does your laptop screen blackout too and go into a hibernation mode?

    Mine does that if the power cord is left out and I don't get to my laptop. I do get the notice at 10 percent to plug in to power source.

    I'm sure if you try the balanced mode, that should change things for you if you set your power plan accordingly.

    Success it worked . My warning message is back and my battery is now running in the "Balanced" mode.

    Thank you so much for all you're help, you're diagnosis was spot on.
    If you don't mind me asking whats with the "Banned" under you're name ?. I will perfectly understand if you tell me to -iss off.
